   IB Music Students in grade 11 should listen to the NPR Radio - History of Western Music Series. 


                      








Listen to each of the five online audio presentation several times.  After gaining an understanding of the significant points presented in the segment complete the following activities.


YOUR ASSIGNMENT 

1.Complete a one page synopsis of the presentation. 

2.Analyze each piece of music presented in the interview.  Your answer should include but not be limited to the “essential musical elements”.  (Form, Texture, Harmony, Rhythm, Pitch, and Dynamics)
